- Login to Content server as Fusion applications User id/password (Sample Link:https://ucmserverhost/cs/)
- Now click on the “New Check-in” link on the left top corner to check-in your Logo(image) file
Make sure the image has the appropriate dimensions. - Complete the mandatory fields as below:
Type : DigitalMedia - Audio, Video, and Images
Title : [put any title]
Security Group: Public
Primary File: click and choose the file to upload
If you did not find the Public Security Group make sure the Administrators role (FMW Role) is assigned to the user. - Click the check-in button to submit.
- After check-in, you will get a confirmation page, click the [Content Info] link
- Copy the URL from the "Web Location" field.
- Issue the url into a new browser window, and make sure the logo is
displayed. if the browser does not recognize the host name, replace the
host in the url by the one of the UCM server and do not specify any
port. UCM server host name can be picked from the address bar while you
are logged in into the UCM server . Typically your Logo URL should
look like this sample URL
https://ucmserverhost/cs/groups/public/documents/digitalmedia/bwzh/mday/~edisp/ucmfa2001.png

Changing the Logo for Fusion Apps Classical Interface:
- Prepare the custom Logo
The dimensions of the logo are important and you should the appropriate dimensions as detailed in this document.
- Host the Logo to External Webserver and get the published URL.
- Login into the home page as hcm.user
- In the home page go to 'Administration' menu (top right corner), and click on 'Customize Global Page template...' sub menu.
User should have "Administration Link View Duty" duty role to see and access Administration drop down menu - Click on the existing logo (here it is 'ORACLE'), this will enable the buttons.
- Now click on the 'Edit' button. A new window should open with the title 'Component Properties: spacer'.
You can change the "Short Desc" text here if you want to display some text when the mouse hovers over the logo.
- Go to the 'Style' tab, and in the 'Background Image' field, enter
the url to access the logo ( server where the logo is located). The
'Other CSS' field may be used as shown to set the width and height of
the logo's image, depending upon the size of the image. The value to be
used is "background-size:119px 25px;".
Note: The dimensions of the logo are important and should be 119px X 25px(width by height) so as to replace the Oracle logo. If it is not of this size already, it can be set here.
- Click on the 'OK' (or 'Apply') button to save the changes and close the window.
- Return back to the home page to see the new logo.
Changing the Logo for Simplified Interface:
- Login to Fusion Simplified Interface
- Once logged in, click the "Settings" icon
- Type in your logo url in the "Logo URL" field and click Apply.
Use the "Watermark URL" field to change the watermark image in the background of the home page.
